Accessible Design
Experiencing growth often means collective fragmentation. Minima is a design system built for Tapestry that enables all global partners to build their digital products more efficiently and consistently.
Minima distributes and maintains a unifying library of styles and interoperable components, and interactive visualizations for others to leverage within products, dashboards, and automated services.
Pitched and led a cross-functional team through the design and build of Minima.
Mixed team leadership and stakeholder partnership with user research, hands-on design, and documentation to create and release this global resource.
Minima, Tapestry's 1st Design System
Font anatomy is important; strong lines, balanced counters, and a large x-height are characteristics that render complex datasets clearly.
We work with data but create software for humans. Use plain language and offer contextual support throughout.
Data and trends can be easily misinterpreted. Favor simplicity throughout component design, highlight key data points, and support users through decision-making flows.
An accessible platform is the right of everyone across Tapestry, regardless of education status or primary language.
